I hold a Master’s degree in counseling from Spring Arbor University and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Having previously worked for Hospice for ten years as a Grief and Loss Specialist, I believe that I am uniquely qualified to assist clients facing chronic illness and end of life issues as well as clients who are coping with a traumatic significant loss. As owner and therapist at a private practice for the past five years, I also have experience working with clients dealing with divorce, major life transitions, women’s issues, relationship rebuilding, childhood abuse, depression, and low self esteem, among other challenges. I also provide Christian counseling upon request.
My greatest reward as a therapist is helping my clients explore ways to make the changes in their lives that will allow them to look toward their future with hope. I provide my clients with a calm, nonjudgmental environment to safely explore the issues and challenges they face. I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic partnership to help uncover the strengths and resources clients possess in order to help bring about the changes they desire in their lives. I feel privileged to be able to come alongside you and offer my knowledge and encouragement on this shared journey and I commend you for reaching out for help to make things better.
